We supposed to crack this ourselves?

I'm with Nvidia GeForce 7300 card and i can't handle this annoying error with the 3D accelerator thing.Can anyone help me with this issue?

its definitely a game with some quirks, but i can generally ignore them because the game just kicks ass. my problem has always been finding a damn crack that works. gamecopyworld and megagames have cracks, but every time i reinstall this game i have to go through the painful process to get no-cd. the knacker never works....nor the fixed exe's. i always forget where to get the working crack, and like a dumbass i never archive it.

for me running in 1280x1024 gives graphics anomalies....settings back to 1024x768 gets rid of them. also this game wont run right on my dual core without setting affinity to core 1 (otherwise it crashes within 10 seconds of mission start). cant get movies to work with any crack (dont think ive ever found one that got them to work anyway).

The disc1 isn't a valid .iso image. Can't mount it, whereas the disc2 mounts nicely.

It might be my system being too picky but I highly doubt it. Think this ain't working for anyone.

Good news: I installed it on vista.. When I start the game I reach the main menu :D
Bad news: I cant see the menu :S I know im in the menu but I can´t see it... Any answers 4 this problem?

gamer_92/ I cant help you but, the same thing happens in age of empires two for me. the menu buttons in game, for combat formations and such, that actually make the game playable and fun dont appear. its also a cracked version, not sure if that has anything to do with it. im on vista 64x as well. i would suggest trying to change the compatibility to XP in the "right-click" icon menu. let me know if it works. i really want to try this. plus anyone know where a good thief (1) is?

This game appears to be incomplete. It doesn't contain the briefings between missions. This is just one mission right after the other, with no story-line.

I was wrong. This game does have the cut-scenes - they just don't play in Vista without some tweaking. I got this game to work in Vista 32bit (including cut-scenes) by doing the following: upgrade game version from 1.07 to 1.18; install latest indeo codec; install ddfix; run thief2.exe in xp compatibility mode.
